A schedule of travel restrictions for travel to the United Kingdom and the U.S. is in effect for the remainder of July and the first three months of August, according to a new report from Travel Channel.
The channel’s Travel & Leisure section on its website announced the ban Tuesday.
Astra said in a statement the ban would affect travel to Canada, the U and Canada’s territories, including British Columbia, Nunavut, Nunatak, Yukon and the Northwest Territories.
The ban will also affect flights to the U., U.K., Canada, France, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Iceland, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Estonia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Lithuania, Bulgaria Republic, Ukraine and Turkey.
Astro’s Travel Channel will continue to provide daily forecasts of the weather and travel alerts for Canada, U.P., Canada’s territorial markets and the United States.
The U.k. travel ban will apply from Wednesday, July 18 to Monday, Aug. 1, the channel said.
The U.N. Security Council is expected to vote on whether to impose a travel ban on Syria next week.
