Travelers who want to visit Illinois in November should take steps to ensure their travel plans aren’t affected by the Illinois travel restrictions that took effect on Monday.

Bruce Rauner signed the restrictions into law on Monday, making it the first state in the nation to do so.

The governor has announced a series of restrictions on people from several other states, but the governor’s executive order does not have any restrictions on visitors from Illinois.

The restrictions also do not affect people who have a valid travel or business visa from any other state.
